چکیده مقاله:

Biodegradation is an economical and efficacious option to purification among purifying methods. Capable PAHs degrading microorganisms are common in sediments contaminated by these compounds. Purifying ability enhance with biosurfactant production by microorganisms. Hence in this research after isolation and identification of two antheracen resistant bacteria, Pesudomonas aeruginosa and Pesudomonas putida, from Khore Musa oil polluted sediments, growth rate and biosurfactant production comparisons were studied. Three techniques, Blood agar, Drop collaps and Oil spread, were used in order to biosurfactant production scrutiny. Results showed that both species had good growth in media containing 10, 20 and 30 mg/lit anthracene but P.aeruginosa had more growth and biosurfactant production in these 3 concentrations.

Biosurfactant production by a new Pseudomonas putida strain.

Observation of both tensio-active and emulsifying activities indicated that biosurfactants were produced by the newly isolated and promising strain Pseudomonas putida 21BN. The biosurfactants were identified as rhamnolipids, the amphiphilic surface-active glycolipids usually secreted by Pseudomonas spp. Their production was observed when the strain was grown on soluble substrates, such as gluco...

PRODUCTION OF RHAMNOLIPID BIOSURFACTANT FROM A MARINE Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Biosurfactants are surface-active agents produced by hydrocarbanoclastic bacteria isolated from oil contaminated sites. In the present study a potential oil degrading bacterium was isolated from Cuddalore harbor waters and identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using both biochemical and 16S rRNA sequencing. Growth optimization of the strain was done against varying physiochemical parameters v...

Biosurfactant production by Pseudomonas aeruginosa BN10 cells entrapped in cryogels.

Production of a rhamnolipid biosurfactant by cells of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain BN10 immobilized into poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and polyacrylamide (PAAm) cryogels was investigated under semicontinuous shake flask conditions and compared to biosurfactant secretion by free cells. The biosurfactant synthesis was followed over 9 cycles of operation of the immobilized system, each cycle compris...

Hydrocarbon assimilation and biosurfactant production in Pseudomonas aeruginosa mutants.

We isolated transposon Tn5-GM-induced mutants of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PG201 that were unable to grow in minimal media containing hexadecane as a carbon source. Some of these mutants lacked extracellular rhamnolipids, as shown by measuring the surface and interfacial tensions of the cell culture supernatants. Furthermore, the concentrated culture media of the mutant strains were tested for the...

Optimization of the Production of Biosurfactant by Psuedomonas aeruginosa HR Isolated from an Iranian Southern Oil Well

In this study 152 bacterial strains were isolated from the contaminated oils in the southwest of Iran. Hemolysis was used as a criterion for the primary  isolation of biosurfactant producing-bacteria. Fifty five strains had haemolytic activity , among them tweleve strains were good biosurfactant producers by measuring surface tension and emulsification activity. Two microorganism showe...
